With more than eighteen years experience, there's very little Scott hasn't seen or created. With the proper tools there's no job too big or too small for him.
A freelance designer since 1990, Scott has created both web and print content with a great deal of success.
Scott's projects have ranged from package, corporate identity, business, and web design to illustration.
He continually walks projects through, from inception to completion, dealing with all possible aspects of every project, from the initial conceptual meetings to the technical troubleshooting on press and is equally comfortable in all areas.
If there's a detail to be addressed, Scott's got it covered. And most often in an unusual and creative manner.
Whether delegating projects to others or being assigned projects, Scott will shine in either case.
Scott was classically trained in the commercial design field, before the computer was so prevalent, this has given Scott a very strong understanding of the production process and a leg up on most competition. Printers love to work with Scott.
A well-known Macintosh-guru, he is often called upon for IT support with regard to Macintosh computer systems, aiding in maintaining systems where IT or IS departments may either be too busy or unfamiliar with the Macintosh.
Capable of dealing with print providers, service bureaus, and production managers in a professional manner, Scott's equally comfortable in a technical or managerial capacity.
In addition to all this print knowledge, Scott has a great understanding of HTML and prefers coding by hand when time permits. He also possesses an understanding of Javascript and DHTML and has picked up quite a bit of PHP and MySQL knowledge as well. Currently, when building web sites, Scott focuses on CSS table-less layouts allowing sites to be accessible from any internet capable device.
